The owner of the Nibulon holding company, Hero of Ukraine Oleksii Vadaturskyi, died on July 31 together with his wife Raisa as a result of the night shelling of Mykolaiv. MP Oleksii Honcharenko was the first to report this on his Telegram channel, but later he deleted his post.
At noon, the death of the Vadaturskyi couple was confirmed by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitalii Kim. A rocket hit the businessman's house.
"Oleksii Opanasovych did a lot for the Mykolaiv Region, as well as for Ukraine. His contribution to the development of the agricultural and shipbuilding industries, the development of the whole region, is invaluable," Kim wrote on his Telegram channel.
Vadaturskyi ranked 24th on the list of the richest Ukrainians, according to Forbes Ukraine. The magazine estimated his fortune at $430 million.
