On the morning of Tuesday, June 28, the Russian invaders launched a massive missile attack on Mykolaiv. According to preliminary estimates, the enemy fired approximately 11 missiles at the regional center, some of them were destroyed by air defense. The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration promised to give more details about the attack and its aftermath later.
The day before, the invaders had shelled the city from Uragan multiple rocket launchers with banned cluster munitions. Houses, private yards, and vehicles were damaged and destroyed.
At 4 am, the Russians fired on the Ochakiv community. They hit the city market, the palace of culture, and detached house suburbs. As a result of an enemy attack, three people were killed, including a 6-year-old child. Another six citizens were injured, including a 3-month-old baby. In a number of districts of the community there is no water, gas and electricity supply, as well as the Internet.
On the morning of June 28, the Mishkovo-Pohorilov, Halytsynove, Shevchenkove, Inhulska, Shyroke, Pervomaiske, and Bereznehuvate communities came under shelling as well.
