The current series of air strikes on Kyiv is unprecedented with respect to their devastating power, intensity, and variety. This is the ninth air raid on the capital since the beginning of May. This time, the attack was carried out by Tu-95MS and Tu-160 strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea area. The Kh-101/Kh-555 type cruise missiles were likely used. After the missiles had been launched, the enemy deployed reconnaissance UAVs over Kyiv.

According to preliminary information, all the enemy targets in the airspace over Kyiv were detected and neutralized! The final details on the number and type of missiles and UABs are to be reported by the Air Force.

Missile fragments fell in the Desnianskyi and Darnytskyi districts of the capital. Damages were the largest in the Darnytskyi district, where a fire broke out in the garage complex. The fire was extinguished. In other districts, fragments could fall on parked cars, near residential buildings, or in parks. No casualties were reported.

Quote"Once again, we thank our air defense forces for the lives they have saved! Stay tuned for news updates. Strictly follow the safety rules in the event of an air alert!" said the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhii Popko.

In Odesa, the aggressors hit an industrial facility during the nighttime attack. One person was killed and two were injured, according to Serhii Bratchuk, Head of the Public Council under the Odesa Regional Military Administration. The attack was carried out using different missiles from different directions. Most of the missiles were shot down by the air defense forces over the sea.
