The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned the residents of the capital about a possible tank attack on Kyiv.
"The hardest day will be today. The enemy's plan is to break through with tank columns from the side of Ivankiv and Chernihiv to Kyiv. Russian tanks burn perfectly when hit by our ATGMs: Stugna, Corsairs, and gifts from our allies NLAW and Javelin," Anton Herashchenko, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, wrote on his Telegram channel.
The Head of the Sumy Regional State Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi stated that the occupiers encircled the city of Konotop in the Sumy region. Akhtyrka heroically repelled the attack twice. He also added that the settlements of the region were besieged, and a lot of military equipment left Sumy in the direction of Kyiv.
