Black smoke is swirling over the temporarily occupied Makiivka in the so-called "Donetsk People’s Republic." The occupational administration of the city says that the fire was caused by the shelling of a military object by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The Radianskyi district was affected, a direct hit on the Tekhnosnab base in Novocherkaska street, Novo-Furmanove settlement, was detected. As a result, munitions that had been stored on the open territory of the base detonated," the communication says.
The Ukrainian side hasn’t commented on the accident yet. A number of Ukrainian Telegram channels wrote that the AFU hit the invaders’ base with HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
Context. Earlier, on July 5, the Kamaz Tsentr auto center burned in the occupied Donetsk, where the invaders arranged a munition depot for fighters of the so-called "DPR."
