Since March 14, children are returning to school in the Lviv region. Both Lviv schoolchildren and tens of thousands of resettled children from all over Ukraine fleeing from Russia's military aggression.
In particular, all students of Lviv schools from grades 1 to 11 are starting online education, since the premises of educational institutions are now used to settle internally displaced persons.
As Andriy Sadovyi, mayor of the city, told in an interview to 
, children living in the school can join classes. Those who live in hostels or Lviv residents will need to register at the nearest school. If there is no appropriate technology, the school will provide opportunities.
"At a time when men are at the forefront, children must have a future and must study," Sadovyi stressed.
The premises of many kindergartens are also used to accommodate temporarily displaced persons. However, the authorities plan to reschedule work in order to create reserve kindergartens because the city must work.
According to Sadovyi, these decisions are temporary, their goal is to resume at least any education during wartime.
It is difficult to say exactly how many children are there in Lviv. A register of children is kept during registration, but there are also unregistered migrants. However, the head of the city urged parents to actively join the educational process. Both parents and children should show willingness to learn in such difficult circumstances.
However, according to Sadovyi, the situation depends more on the current military situation.
