The thirtieth day of the Russia-Ukraine war of 2022 continues. The enemy failed to achieve the main objectives of a large-scale war — the blockade of Kyiv and access to the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
At the same time, the enemy was partially successful in establishing a land corridor between the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea and part of the Donetsk region, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The occupation forces continue to reinforce by forming and sending to Belarus combined units from the following military formations:
- 37th separate motor rifle brigade (Kyakhta);
- 5th separate tank brigade (Ulan-Ude) of the 36th army;
- 38th separate motor rifle brigade (Yekaterinoslavka) of the 35th army;
- 40th separate marine brigade (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) of the Pacific Fleet of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Volyn direction
The enemy does not conduct active actions. The likelihood of involving the armed forces of Belarus in aggression against Ukraine is assessed as high.
Polissia direction
The enemy did not conduct offensive actions, but they focus their efforts on shelling the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Nova Buda, Nalyvaikivka, and Ozershchyna. They also redeploy units, provide logistical support and try to gain a foothold on captured lines. Near Chernobyl, the invaders set up a field camp for a group of troops of the Eastern Military District.
Siversk direction
The Russian fascist invaders are holding the previously captured lines, trying to increase the grouping and blockade Chernihiv. The shelling of the city’s infrastructure continues. They conduct aerial reconnaissance using UAVs. To reduce the resistance of the civilians, the invaders disseminate leaflets.
The advance in the direction of Brovary had not succeeded. All attempts to advance to Brovary were thwarted and the invaders passed over to the defensive, trying to gain a foothold in the positions captured.
Slobozhanshchyna direction
The enemy is trying to hold positions on the approaches to Sumy and Kharkiv and recoups losses in equipment and manpower. Continues to use aircraft and artillery to destroy residential areas of the cities.
Near Izium, the enemy attempted to break through the defense of our troops from the south, near Kamenka, but was stopped near Tykhotske. Now the Ukrainian troops are picking off a salient.
Donetsk direction
The enemy continues to recoup losses and regroup units. Actively uses artillery and aircraft to destroy the infrastructure of the cities of Donbas. The invaders do not give up the plan to enter the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Tauride direction
In the occupied territories of the Kherson region, the enemy is preparing to establish the occupation authorities, including by the forces of the Rosgvardiya units. Measures were taken to isolate the Kherson railway station.
The enemy is building up a naval grouping in the Sea of Azov. A small minesweeper Valentin Pikul, a missile boat Naberezhnye Chelny, and two landing craft were noticed to pass through the Kerch Strait in the north direction.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue the defense operation. The main efforts are focused on preventing the enemy from breaking through, protecting the state border of Ukraine, and destroying the enemy on land, in the air, and at sea.
