During today's massive missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, the invaders used various types of missiles, including high-precision land-, sea-, and air-based cruise missiles, as well as S-300 missile systems and Tornado-S multiple-launch rocket systems.
"On October 10, at 6:00 AM, the unhinged dictator ordered an attack on peaceful cities of Ukraine from all directions with missiles of various types, in particular from the Black Sea and the Caspian region," the Ukrainian Air Forces reported.
The types of missiles the enemy used to attack Ukraine on October 10:
- Kh-101 and Kh-555 — launched from the Caspian sea by 11 Tu-95 and Tu-160 strategic bombers,
- Kalibr — from the ships deployed in the Black Sea,
- Iskander — from various directions,
- S-300 surface-to-air missile systems,
- Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers.
Context. On Monday morning, Ukraine suffered a massive missile attack during which the Russian military launched at least 83 missiles on Ukrainian territory. About 45 of them were shot down by air defense forces. In addition, 9 of the 12 Shahed 136 kamikaze drones launched by the Russians were also downed.
The government of Moldova reported a violation of the country's airspace by Russian missiles. The authorities demand explanations from the Russian Federation.
