Acting Ministry of Energy Yurii Vitrenko has denied information that he allegedly wrote a letter of resignation.
The Minister has noted that he continues to act as the head of the department. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
In particular, the official has noted that rumors that the Cabinet of Ministers, the Office of the President and international partners are not satisfied with his work are unfounded.
"Rumors of complaints from the government, the Office of the President, international partners on the work of the Ministry of Energy under my leadership are manipulative... Now I continue to act as Minister of Energy and am preparing for a business trip as part of the official Ukrainian delegation within the framework of the foreign visit of the President of Ukraine, that is scheduled for the coming days."

Context. On April 7, the media reported that Vitrenko allegedly wrote a letter of resignation upon returning from Qatar. In particular, sources close to the Acting Minister claimed that he had started talking about the dismissal about two weeks ago.
At an unscheduled meeting on the evening of December 21, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yurii Vitrenko as First Deputy Energy Minister and entrusted him with the duties of Acting Minister.
