After carrying out sea trials, the arrival of the new boat in Ukraine is expected in the spring of 2022.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko, OCEA Chief Executive Officer Roland Joassard, OCEA management, as well as representatives of the working group of the State Border Service for supervision over the boat construction took part in the event.

"One of the achievements of this contract is that 5 out of 20 boats that are planned to be built will be produced in Ukraine with the help of French specialists at the Ukrainian facilities in Mykolaiv," is said in the report.

It is also reported that in the near future Ukrainian border guards will arrive in France and will learn how to operate and maintain new equipment under the supervision of the OCEA specialists.

Earlier it was reported that Vadatursky's shipyards would build missile boats for the Ukrainian Navy according to the British project.
