Ukrainian business donated 21.7 million UAH for the Kyiv St. Nicholas Cathedral restoration after a fire that had occurred in early September, former MP and Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayyem said.
In particular, the first meeting of the Working Group took place in the format of a videoconference. It will be responsible for joint actions to overcome the consequences of the fire. Nayyem also noted that this week there may be a full conclusion of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine about the causes of the fire.
In addition, the National Police opened criminal proceedings in respect of the fire.
"Now everyone is waiting for design and estimate documentation for anti-damage operations. It is impossible to move on without them. And we will check it thoroughly. I hope things will get off the ground in the coming days," Nayyem noted.
