During the day on February 26, 8,172 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded. Including, 519 children and 292 health workers fell ill.
Also during the last 24 hours:
- were hospitalized—2,806 people;
- died—151;
- recovered—4766;
- tests made—78,040 (by PCR—35,714, by ELISA—16,990, studies using express tests for antigen—25,336).
During the entire period of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,342,016 people fell ill, 1,168,321 recovered, 25,893 died, 6,881,688 PCR tests were made.
The highest number of all new cases are recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk (892), Lviv (696), Vinnytsia (694), Chernivtsi (670), and Zakarpattia (621) regions.
In the world, 433,000 cases were recorded were recorded during the last 24 hours (a total of 114 million), 9,778 people died (total 2.53 million).
Additionally. The Ministry of Health has updated the list of countries in the "red" and "green" zones. The number of "red" ones decreased from 71 to 61 during the week.
