On Wednesday, August 24, Russian invaders launched a missile strike on the Chaplyne railway station in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strike killed at least 15 people.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this when speaking at the meeting of the UN Security Council.
He also added that around 50 people were injured as a result of the strike.
"Four passenger cars are burning… The rescuers are working. However, unfortunately, the number of casualties can further increase," Zelenskyy said.
Context. On Wednesday afternoon, August 24, Russian invasion forces shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region. The shelling resulted in a Russian missile hitting a private house in the Synelnykivskyi district. Two children were trapped under rubble.
