After a series of quarantines in Ukraine due to the coronavirus, food delivery services are becoming more and more popular. In addition to specialized services that bring food from restaurants and cafes, there are also certain applications for delivering groceries from supermarkets.
In particular, due to the Delta strain, a new lockdown will probably be imposed, with an increase in the number of sick people. 
has compiled food delivery services that work in Ukraine.
Glovo
One of the most popular food delivery services Glovo works in 20 cities of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Vyshhorod, Irpin, and Vyshneve. All cities can be viewed on the map.
In addition to ordering ready-made meals in a restaurant, Glovo couriers can deliver goods from a supermarket, pharmacy, and even flowers. You can choose products from the list or describe what you need, and the courier will do everything possible to fulfill the order.
The cost of delivery is usually 40-45 UAH, but quite often restaurants or the service itself have special offers Therefore, the delivery price for restaurants can be different.
At the same time, delivery from supermarkets is more expensive—60 UAH, but during promotions it can be reduced even to 10 UAH. The average delivery time is 35 minutes, but in some cases you will have to wait about an hour.
Bolt food
To replace UberEats, Bolt has launched Bolt Food, a food delivery service in Kyiv. More than 150 restaurants have already joined the platform, including KFC, Puzata Khata, Thailand Hi, China Hi, Vietnam Hi, Meiwei, BagatoLososia, Musafir, and Cinnabon.
In-app delivery is free for now, however you still have to pay for delivery from some restaurants, but it costs a symbolic amount. Subsequently, the delivery should become paid, but it will be 10-15% lower than that of competitors, Bolt promised.
The average delivery time for food will be from 20 to 40 minutes, and the minimum order amount must be at least 100 UAH. However, you can only pay by card online.
Rocket
Another popular delivery service, Rocket, is working already in more than 20 cities of Ukraine, in particular in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Odesa. However, the service does not have a desktop version, so you can use delivery services only from a smartphone or tablet on iOS or Android.
Food delivery costs 40 UAH, but from time to time promotions are held on the platform, so it can sometimes even be free of charge from some restaurants.
In Rocket, you can order goods from stores located near the delivery address. However, when there are a lot of orders, the service sometimes looks for couriers for a long time.
Mister.am
The Mister.am service is less popular than the ones mentioned above, but its advantage is that it is presented in small cities of Ukraine. Namely, in Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kremenchuk, Kropyvnytskyi, Lutsk, etc.
The cost of delivery in the service starts from 45 UAH, however, additional charges may apply for delivery to city districts.
An order can be made on the website in the application or by calling the manager.
Noww
In February, Noww, a new delivery service, launched in Kyiv. It delivers food from restaurants, supermarkets, and clothes stores. However, only IOS and Android users can use the service.
Delivery from restaurants, according to the organizers, will last 30 minutes, and delivery from supermarkets and clothes stores will take an hour.
The service gives 100% cashback on the first order from restaurants. For orders from supermarkets, there is a cashback of 5% of the order amount, and from clothing stores—15%. Moreover, the clothes can be returned if they do not fit.
So far, you can order food at:
- Urban Grill;
- SpicyNoSpicy;
- Pho People;
- Miminoshi;
- The Burger Mexico;
- Sushi Avenue.
In the application, you can order delivery by usual courier or "Gene"—a freelancer who delivers the order within a radius of up to 3 kilometers. 10% cashback is returned to the client for using the "Gene" service. So far, Noww works only in the center of Kyiv and in Pozniaky, but subsequently the coverage of the city will increase.
