Ukrainian TV manufacturer KIVI has raised $13 million from the Chinese company MTS, the second largest TV ODM (original design manufacturer). This is reported in a company’s press release.
The investments will be directed to the development of new hardware and software solutions to significantly increase productivity and the implementation of a number of innovative technologies, new design solutions, as well as to improve the picture and sound quality.
This is a 5 years-long cooperation project.
Context. KIVI is an international company that develops and manufactures smart TVs and TV services. The company’s head office is located in Kyiv.
Shenzhen MTC Co., Ltd ranked 2nd in 2020 in the world ranking among TV manufacturers with an annual volume of 12.5 million devices, having increased production by 49% in a year. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen.
