All against occupier. How Ukrainian realtors identify saboteurs and help with renting housing for refugees from war

Regional branches of the Association of Real Estate Specialists (Realtors)of Ukraine (ARESU) provide non-reimbursable assistance in finding housing and resettling all those who, because of Russian military aggression, were forced to leave for the territory of the western regions of the country.

As the ARESU press service told The Page, the regional branches of the association, in particular those in Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Lviv, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Khmelnitsky, and Ternopil, help Ukrainians find temporary housing.

Also collecting and transferring funds for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is in process, as well as active information work to identify and neutralize saboteurs.

Quote"There are no anonymous services in wartime. We first check if the war refugees are real. We need to get recommendations or confirmation from the area where people are coming from. But we help such people find housing without a commission. Also, some apartment owners have reduced rental prices. Often, if this is a large housing, the owners agree to make a mini-dormitory," Andrii Borysov, Chairman of the Lviv regional branch of the Association of Real Estate Specialists (Realtors) of Ukraine, said.

According to him, realtors also help to identify saboteurs in their city in wartime.

All realtors in the West must report to the SSU about suspicious persons taking up residence, provide law enforcement officers with information, record passport data at least on the phone, necessarily sign contracts and record all their actions," Borysov added.

In addition, Odesa, Zaporizhzhja, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Bila Tserkva, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Dnipro, and Kyiv realtors are involved in identifying enemy military convoys, "marks" on buildings, and join the ranks of the territorial defense.
