The seventy-fourth day of the Ukrainian people's resistance to the military invasion of Russia continues. In the last 24 hours, air defense units and the Ground Forces of Ukraine hit 1 Mi-28N helicopter and 11 UAVs.
The invader continues to conduct a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine, without stopping the offensive in the Eastern Operational Zone in order to gain full control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintain a land corridor between these territories and the occupied Crimea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Slobozhanshchyna direction
The enemies focused their main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops towards the state border of Ukraine to the north and northeast of the city of Kharkiv. The enemy fired artillery at the settlements of Prudianka, Slatyne, and Tsyrkuny. To reinforce the defense near the settlement of Kozacha Lopan, the enemy carried out measures for the fortification of their positions.
Izium direction
The invaders focused their efforts on preparing to continue the offensive in the Izyim-Barvinkove and Izium-Sloviansk directions. To reinforce the grouping on the territory of the Russian Federation, the enemy redeployed two battalion tactical groups from the 35th Combined Arms Army to certain areas. They carried out artillery attacks on the positions of units of the Defense Forces.
To better define the position of our troops, the enemy continued to conduct aerial reconnaissance near the settlements of Izium and Kamianka.
Donetsk direction
The group of occupying troops continues offensive operations in the Lyman, Popasna, Severodonetsk, and Avdiivka directions.
Kurakhove direction
With the support of artillery, the enemy is trying to resume offensive operations in the direction of the Novomykhailivka settlement.
Lyman direction
As a result of the assault actions, the enemy captured the northern outskirts of Shandryholove.
Mariupol
The enemy continues to block our units near the Azovstal plant. With the support of fire, artillery, and tanks, they carry out assault actions.
The enemy continues to bring in weapons, military equipment, ammunition, fuels and lubricants to meet the needs of the group of troops in the specified direction.
Pivdennyi Buh and Tauride direction
The grouping of occupying troops, with the support of aviation, strikes at military and civilian targets, regroups and reinforces units, builds up the system of fire damage and logistics.
Bessarabia direction
The situation remains tense. Armed formations in the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova and units of the task force of Russian troops are in full combat readiness.
The ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas continue to carry out the missions of isolating the combat area, conducting reconnaissance and fire support in the littoral direction.
Kryvyi Rih direction
In order to identify the positions of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy used the Orlan-10 UAVs.
Volyn, Polissia, and Siversk directions
Situation is without significant changes. There is still a threat of missile and air strikes against the facilities of our state from the territory of Belarus.
Certain units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation continue to carry out missions to cover a section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
In the last 24 hours, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force hit one Mi-28N helicopter, seven Orlan-type UAVs, two Forpost-type UAVs, and two cruise missiles. In addition, two Orlan-type UAVs were destroyed by anti-aircraft missile units of the Ground Forces.
On the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the AFU forces repelled 9 enemy attacks in the last 24 hours, destroyed 19 tanks, 20 pieces of armored combat vehicles, 4 special armored vehicles, six vehicles, and one piece of enemy engineering equipment.
