President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, to arrange a possible meeting with President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
Zelenskyy said this during a visit to the Chernobyl NPP.
According to him, there is every possibility that the meeting of the Presidents will take place. In particular, Zelenskyy recalled that he had suggested meeting with Putin in Donbas, but he had offered to meet in Moscow.
"I have already given an assignment to the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, to contact the administration of President Putin and so that they find an understanding and a time frame and a place or city where we can meet."

He also noted that the main thing is for this meeting to take place, and the place is not that important.
At the same time, Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories Oleksii Reznikov noted that Zelenskyy cannot go to Moscow for negotiations. According to him, such a meeting cannot take place in the capital of the occupying country.
In particular, Reznikov noted that the meeting of the Presidents can only take place within the framework of the Normandy Format.
So far, there are no details regarding this meeting form the Russian side. In particular, this was stated by Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
