At least 3,000 NATO Special Operations Forces personnel will participate in the key European special forces drills Trojan Footprint that will be held from May 2 to 13.
These drills are deployed in parallel with the Swift Response maneuvers as part of Defender Europe 2022, wide-scale drills of the Alliance and partners.
Defender Europe 2022 and Swift Response 2022 are held from May 1 to May 27 in Poland. 18,000 servicemen from more than 20 countries, including about 7,000 who are now deployed on the territory of Poland, participate in the maneuvers.
