The Ambassadors of the EU countries have come to the conclusion about the need to exclude Ukraine from the list of countries safe for travel—the so-called "green" list. Rikard Jozwial, the correspondent of Radio Liberty, announced this on Twitter.

According to him, the decision will be officially announced on Monday.

The Ukrainian MFA explains that "there will be no total closure of the European Union borders."

"This is a recommendation, and the final decisions will be made by each individual EU country. The MFA of Ukraine is actively working with partners to keep the maximum freedom of travel for Ukrainians," Dmytro Kuleba, the head of the Ministry, stressed.

Context. On October 29, during the next revision of the list of "green" countries, the EU retained Ukraine in it.

Brussels reviews the list every two weeks and amends it depending on the situation with the coronavirus in each country.
