On the morning of May 18, a group of armed people in the uniform of law enforcement officers arrived at the house on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street, where the mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko lives. Klitschko considers this to be pressure on the city authorities.
However, it turned out that law enforcement officers came to the apartment located one floor below. Nevertheless, Klitschko was skeptical about this information and considered it an attempt to put pressure on the Kyiv authorities. The mayor of Kyiv wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
In particular, he reported: cameras on the floor recorded that people in uniform went up to his floor, rang the doorbell and knocked on the door of his apartment.
Prior to this, Klitschko stated that the capital's authorities require a report from law enforcement agencies on the status of cases for which the Kyiv City State Administration has handed over the documents based on the audit results.
In particular, he explained that according to the audit results, 168 criminal proceedings had already been registered. However, law enforcement officers verify mainly the materials that the Kyiv authorities themselves handed over.
