Russians used drones to hit civilians in a queue for humanitarian aid in the Kherson region

On March 2, 2023, Russian occupation forces attacked the de-occupied territory of the Kherson region. In the Beryslav district, according to preliminary data, the Russian army used drones to hit civilians who stood in a queue outside a school to get humanitarian aid.

The report was published by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

As a result, nine civilians were injured, including a minor. They are getting qualified medical help. The exact number of casualties is pending confirmation. Civil infrastructure facilities were also damaged.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office initiated a pre-trial investigation in a criminal case of violating the laws and customs of war (Criminal Code of Ukraine, art. 438, p. 1).

Context. Last night, on March 2, 2023, the Russian forces launched a missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia. The invaders ruined a section of a five-story building. Several residents were killed.
