Lockdown in Ukraine may be introduced if over 50-70% of the country's regions get into the "red" quarantine zone.
This was stated by the Minister of Healthcare Maksym Stepanov on the air of the program Freedom of Speech (Svoboda Slpva in Ukrainian) on the ICTV channel.
According to the official, the city of Kyiv, as well as Vinnytsia and Lviv regions may get into the "red" zone in the coming days.
«I think we will move in an adaptive quarantine strategy when we shift certain regions. It is clear that if more than 50-70% of regions get into the red level, then we will talk about strict quarantine throughout the country.»
