The pharmaceutical company Lekhim, an authorized representative of the Chinese company Sinovac Biotech, has submitted an application to the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health for the registration of its vaccine against coronavirus in Ukraine.
As stated in the relevant letter of the company, that is at the disposal of 
, the application was submitted on February 9. It is about the CoronaVac vaccine manufactured by Sinovac Life Sciences.
CoronaVac is 100% effective in preventing severe cases of COVID-19, nearly 78% effective in preventing mild cases, and has an overall effectiveness of 50.4%.
Context. Earlier, Sinovac explained to why they had decided to work with the Ukrainian vaccine manufacturer Lekhim.
