The twenty-sixth day of the Russia-Ukraine war 2022 continues. The enemy is experiencing a large shortage of human resources, therefore, it is moving reserves from the Central and Far Eastern Military Districts to the borders of Ukraine.
The enemy also conducts covert mobilization and seeks support from their numerically insignificant allies, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The invaders continue the practice of involving the personnel of military units and support units in direct combat operations, which is evidence of the critical situation in the army of the Russian invaders," the report reads.
Volyn, Polissia, and Siversk directions
The enemy is trying to organize the terrain for positional defense, to resume the logistics support of their units.
The enemy continues to systematically destroy the infrastructure in the captured cities. Missile and bomb strikes are delivered, robberies, kidnappings and the taking of civilians hostage are taking place.
The enemy is concentrating troops in certain areas and is trying to resume offensive operations.
The enemy did not conduct offensive actions in the direction of Chernihiv. However, they continued to shell the positions of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and densely populated districts of the city.
The invaders made an attempt to attack Brovary, but suffered significant losses and were stopped. The Russian-fascist troops are making attempts to restore the combat effectiveness of the troops and to organize the terrain of the positions occupied.
Slobozhanshchyna direction
The enemy is not conducting active offensive operations in this direction. Continues to block Sumy. They try to block Kharkiv with forces available, exert fire influence on the defense lines and civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv and Chuhuiv.
However, the invaders continue to make significant efforts to establish control over the city of Izium. Troops are dispersed around the city. The enemy is trying to reinforce the grouping, equipping a line of strongholds.
Donetsk direction
The enemy conducts assault operations and artillery strikes along the entire contact line. They tried to break through the defense of our troops’ positions near Avdiivka. They failed, suffered losses and retreated.
Pivdennyi Buh direction
The enemy is trying to hold the previously occupied lines, taking measures to restore combat effectiveness and resupply.
