Landing craft D-106 "Akula" ("Shark") of the Black Sea Fleet was blown up by a mine near Mariupol. This is reported by the MP Oleksiy Honcharenko and the Russian media.
"It is reported that a Russian landing craft of the project 1176 "Akula" D-106 of the Black Sea Fleet exploded near Mariupol. We are waiting for confirmation of the "goodwill gesture," Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesperson of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reports.
There is no official confirmation of the information so far.
