The next three months will be active and decisive, said Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence chief, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with the Voice of America.
"Not only decisive. They will be quite active. Very active, and they will define the future course of events. There will be active hostilities, if you mean that. There will be attempts both from the enemy’s side and from our side," he said.
To turn the tide, Ukraine needs the supply of weapons to be intensified. According to Budanov, weapons keep coming, but the pace and numbers are insufficient to make a difference.
Context. Earlier, at a press conference, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he couldn’t promise that Crimea would be retaken by the end of 2023. However, he ascertained that he was confident in Ukraine’s victory.
