On February 20, Ukraine marks the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes. To mark this memorable day, a number of events were approved in Kyiv.
On Sunday, February 20, the following events will be held:
- Ceremony in memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes—from 10:00 to 12:00.
- Commemorative installation Places of Dignity on the Alley of Heavenly Hundred Heroes at the sites of the Heroes’ deaths—during the day.
- Light installation Rays of Dignity on Maidan Nezalezhnosti and the Alley of Heavenly Hundred Heroes—from 19:00 to 23:00.
- Commemoration meeting in memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes on Maidan Nezalezhnosti—from 16:00 to 18:00.
- Commemoration events and laying flowers dedicated to the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes in all Kyiv districts.
The following events will last until February 28:
- Book exhibition History of the Revolution in Close Up in the city library Young Guard.
- Exhibition of documents To the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes In the reading room of the State Archives of Kyiv.
The following events will last until March 20:
- Street exhibition project Euromaidan in Donetsk: History of The Struggle for Dignity on Mykhailivska Square
- Documentary exhibition Maidan Cases: On The Way to Justice and History on Alley of Heavenly Hundred Heroes (near the bridge).
The following events will last until August 15:
- Street exhibition Depicted History of Maidan on Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
Also on February 20, entertainment events and sports competitions will be restricted and appropriate changes will be made to the TV and radio listings.
