New Years and Christmas are the most cheerful holidays of the year and are both only family time and a great opportunity to throw a party with friends. And what can amuse better than a friendly competition. And board games will help greatly with this.

The Page Style has compiled a selection of the best games for the company.

Exploding Kittens

This is a fairly simple card game that makes fun of many of the board game features. The point of the game is extremely simple. The players have several Action cards in their hands.

From the deck in the center of the table, they draw other cards, and there are "exploding kittens" among them. Having drawn this card the player is eliminated. However, there are several ways to counter the dangers. The winner will be the one who did not once "explode".

Dixit is an exciting game of associations. Players need to come up with an association to the picture. You take one of your cards and describe it in any way you want.

Then the other participants in the game must find the card that best suits the made-up association. Then all the selected cards must be shuffled and laid out in the center of the table. Then the game participants must guess which of the cards was laid by the one who proposed the association.

The feature of the game Dixit is that you need to propose an association that only some players can guess. Only in this case, the players who guessed right and the one who proposed the association get victory points.

Alias is a game based on word clarification. Teams of two people take part in it. The minimum number of players is four.

In this game, you need to be able to explain the word being puzzled out in other words. That is, the task is, with the help of explanations, synonyms, antonyms, and hints to help friends guess more of the words indicated in the card. The first team to reach the finish line wins.

Another great game for the company is Cluedo. It came out more than 60 years ago and is still popular with gamers today. This is a classic detective game where the Mr. Black’s murder of Mr. Black happened. The players will have to explore numerous rooms of the mansion looking for a criminal and a murder weapon.

Each character, room, and murder weapon has its own card. At the beginning of the game, you need to randomly select one card of each type and put it in a special envelope. This envelope is the answer to the question "Who, where and with what killed Mr. Black?"

The rest of the cards are mixed into one deck and dealt to the players. The players choose their chip and place it in the mansion hall. This is where the investigation begins. The players go from room to room and make an assumption who, with what and where killed the house owner. If the neighbor on the left has one of the named cards he must show it to the one who made the correct assumption.

Through such mutual exclusions that need to be noted in the detective's notebook, players eventually come to the conclusion which cards are kept in the envelope.

Munchkin is another classic board game. The object of the game is to get to the treasure. As the game progresses, the participants need to collect various magic items and potions.

You can get them by opening doors with monsters hiding behind them. You need to defeat these monsters. The players can also hamper the efforts of others to get the treasures.

In addition, the game has a huge number of add-ons that will help vary the game and make it more interesting.
