The World Bank has supported the allocation of a $200 million loan for Ukraine. The funds will be used to modernize the Ukrainian education system. The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science for five years.
This decision was made on May 5 by the Board of Executive Directors of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
The funds will be used to purchase equipment, create laboratories for students and scientists, as well as repair work to improve the efficiency of educational space at universities.
In addition, modern computer hardware and software will be purchased to increase the level of informatization in higher educational institutions.
