Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov told when vaccines against coronavirus of American-German production Pfizer/BioNTec, Chinese company Sinovac (CoronaVac) and others that would be used to inoculate Ukrainian citizens would be delivered to Ukraine.
Pfizer vaccine in Ukraine
As he said on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel, the first delivery of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine as part of the international COVAX vaccine distribution initiative is expected on April 14. It is planned to deliver 117,000 doses. At the same time, 1.7 million doses of this vaccine should arrive in the country by the end of May, and according to a commercial contract signed between Ukraine and Pfizer, all 10 million doses will arrive by the end of 2021 (deliveries under the contract begin in May).
Sinovac vaccine (CoronaVac) in Ukraine
According to Stepanov, the vaccination with the CoronaVac medication from the Chinese company Sinovac Biotech, that arrived in the country on March 25, will begin on April 10. At the same time, another 1.7 million doses will be delivered to the country in May.
«A vaccine, according to all our regulatory documents, must undergo laboratory control that has a specific time frame. After April 10, it will end—and immediately this vaccine will be used for inoculations.»

AstraZeneca (CoviShield) and Novavax in Ukraine
As for the CoviShield vaccine, the Indian analogue of AstraZeneca, that is currently used for inoculating Ukrainian citizens, Ukraine should receive 1.5 million doses in May.
The vaccine of the American company Novavax, in turn, will begin to be supplied in the amount of 2 million doses per month no later than July.
"To vaccinate 70% of the adult population of Ukraine, 48 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine are needed. All of them must arrive in Ukraine by the end of the year," the Minister summed up.
