Ukrzaliznytsia, after a 1.5-year shutdown, has resumed its daily train service No. 642/641 Odesa—Chisinau (Moldova).
According to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, the agreement on the resumption of the route became possible with the support from Calea Ferata din Moldova.
The first train to Chisinau will depart on August 28, and to Odesa from August 29.
The train will depart from Odesa at 18:36 and arrive in Chisinau at 22:33. Departure from Chisinau is scheduled for 7:09, arrival in Odessa—at 10:55.
The company notes that in 2019 the passenger traffic between Ukraine and Moldova exceeded 90,000 people. The train service ended on March 18, 2020 due to quarantine restrictions.
Tickets for the specified train can be bought at the ticket offices of the Ukrzaliznytsia and Railways of Moldova stations.
