Ukrainian pilots are to start training on F-16 fighter jets in August 2023. The statement by the country’s leader, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was published by the Office of the President.
«F-16. This month, the training for our Ukrainian pilots starts. We now have to 100% cooperate with the countries that have these jets and can give them to us after the training. This is an intense and difficult challenge," he emphasized.
The F-16 fighter jets must be delivered and used in combat as soon as possible, the president noted.
