Ukrainian White Rock Management has opened a data center for mining in Kazakhstan

The company White Rock Management, owned by Ukrainian entrepreneur Sergey Tron, has opened a data center for mining with a capacity of over 100 MW in Kazakhstan.

The company reports that it has already acquired over 20,000 miners worth over $200 million from Bitmain.

The statement notes that Kazakhstan is attractive for investors "due to its convenient geographical location and the lowest electricity tariffs compared to other countries."

The company announced its plans to open data centers in Sweden, North America, and Ukraine.

Context. This year, the PRC authorities banned mining. Many representatives of the mining business have moved to neighboring Kazakhstan. Data centers in the country are going to open BIT Mining Limited and Wattum Management in partnership with Enegix.

Canaan has already launched the first bitcoin mining venture in Kazakhstan.

Recently, the authorities of Kazakhstan introduced an additional tariff for mining, but this decision should not greatly affect the development of the market.
