A technical pause was taken in the negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations to end the war until March 15, while the negotiations themselves continue. Adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak reported this on his Twitter page.
"A technical pause has been taken in the negotiations until tomorrow. For additional work in the working subgroups and clarification of individual definitions. Negotiations continue…," Podolyak tweeted.
Context. On February 28, the Ukrainian and Russian delegations held the first round of negotiations and went to their respective capitals for consultations on further decisions.
On March 3, the second round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations was held. According to Podolyak, the Ukrainian delegation did not achieve the results they had hoped for in negotiations with the Russian Federation. At the same time, the parties reached an agreement on the joint provision of humanitarian corridors.
The Ukrainian delegation in the course of the third round of negotiations held on March 7 with the delegation of the Russian Federation got positive results in the context of the humanitarian corridor logistics.
