The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers summarized the results of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, decisions made at it will have practical outcomes that will work to rebuild Ukraine.

International partners announced new financial assistance:

  • €50 billion from the EU as a new medium-term instrument of support;
  • a three-year support program worth £3 billion from the United Kingdom;
  • $1.76 billion under an agreement with the World Bank;
  • €600 million for Ukrhydroenergo, Ukrenergo, and Naftogaz energy companies from the ERDB;
  • a new project portfolio for reconstruction worth €840 million from the European Investment Bank;
  • $1.3 billion in announced aid from the United States;
  • additional €381 million in aid from Germany.
  • Ukraine, the EU, Norway, Switzerland, and the ERDB signed an agreement on cooperation in war risk insurance.
"A regular meeting of the Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform was held. We are strengthening coordination with partners with respect to reconstruction. We are forming a business coalition for investing in Ukraine — Ukraine Business Compact. 400 international companies have already joined the initiative," Shmyhal noted.

The prime minister also said that the partners supported the idea of using frozen Russian assets for the reconstruction of Ukraine. He thanked the United Kingdom for organizing the conference.
