The United24 fundraising platform accumulated $500 million in aid to Ukraine by December 7, 2023, the platform reported.
"You’ve done it! This week, we’ve recorded $500,000,000 accumulated through United24 from donations received from all over the world," the message says.
Donations from more than 100 countries were used to provide Ukraine with 7,000 UAV systems and create the first fleet of sea drones. Other purchases include class C armored ambulances for regions near the frontline, hundreds of power generators, and other equipment for hospitals.
Money accumulated through United24 helped repair 22 bridges and 2 hospitals. The first Mine Action Center has been created. There are also 18 apartment buildings and schools currently being rebuilt.
The United24 state portal for donations from all over the world was launched in May 2022.
United24 ambassadors include historian Timothy Snyder, the founder of World Central Kitchen, José Andrés, astronaut Scott Kelly, tennis player Elina Svitolina, football player Andrii Shevchenko, political economist Francis Fukuyama, billionaire Richard Branson, and many others.
