The first of 13 armored ambulances has arrived in Ukraine and will soon be deployed at the frontline. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, the UNITED24 platform raised more than ₴124 million (around $3.4 million) to buy them.

These armored ambulances will help evacuate casualties from the frontline to the nearest medical facility, the ministry says. They comply with NATO ballistic standards and can protect against kinetic impact ammunition, shell fragments, improvised explosive devices, etc.
The vehicles have tires that enable them to move at a speed of 50 to 150 km/h even when deflated. According to the Ministry of Health, they will help ensure the evacuation of wounded soldiers from the frontlines under any conditions.
The ambulances are made on special order in Canada. The next ones will be immediately delivered to Ukraine as soon as they are ready.
