JSC Design Bureau Lutch and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have signed a state contract for the coastal missile systems RK-360MC Neptune supply to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"According to the contract, the army will receive missiles, unified launchers, transport-loading and transport vehicles, mobile command posts," the Design Bureau press service said.
Recall that the Neptune complex was entered into service by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in accordance with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine order No. 292 dated August 23, 2020.
RK-360MC Neptune is a ground-based complex with anti-ship cruise missiles designed to defeat warships and transports, coastal radio-contrast targets. RC is applicable in simple and difficult meteorological conditions, at any time of the day or year, with enemy’s active fire and electronic countermeasures.
