Power supply secured: Ukraine received over 500 powerful Tesla Powerwall batteries

Poland provided Ukraine with 508 powerful Tesla Powerwall batteries to use in social and critical infrastructure. These batteries will help secure a reliable power supply for important social facilities and essential systems, thus contributing to the country’s energy stability.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development, reported this on Telegram.

According to Fedorov, the batteries will supply power for schools, hospitals, kindergartens, and other socially important institutions.

Quote"This is an effective solution in times of Russian missile terror. Tesla Powerwall batteries are charged from common power outlets and have a life of up to 14 hours. They will make it possible for doctors to save lives, for teachers to teach classes, and for all Ukrainians to use uninterrupted communication via Starlink in special locations," the minister added.

Fedorov also shared successful cases of using Tesla Powerwall batteries.

Quote"A year ago, we received the first 50 systems. They are working in hospitals and clinics in the liberated territories. They also help thousands of people in cities near the frontline in the Donetsk and Mykolaiv regions call their loved ones and keep up with the news even during power outages caused by Russian shelling," he noted.

Ukraine keeps employing the best technological solutions that will help it carry through in the autumn and winter.
