The press service of Special Operation Forces published updated information on enemy losses as a result of the special operation to destroy the Minsk dock landing ship and the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea fleet.
"Given that LSD Minsk was to go on an alert mission the following day, the crew was on board. Irreplaceable losses include 62 invaders. The hit on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea fleet resulted in the deaths of 34 officers, including the commander of the Russian Black Sea fleet. Another 105 invaders were injured. The HQ building is irreparably damaged," the message says.
On September 13, Ukrainian forces conducted a special operation and damaged the Minsk dock landing ship and the Kilo-class Rostov-on-Don diesel-electric submarine. Later, on September 22, a missile strike on the HQ of the invaders’ Black Sea fleet was launched.
"Among the wounded is the commander of the group, Colonel-General [Alexander] Romanchuk, in a very serious condition. The chief of staff, Lieutenant General [Oleg] Tsekov, is comatose. The number of casualties among ordinary service members who didn't work at the HQ is to be clarified. These are the personnel that serve there, including guards and others, which are not included in the number I told you," Kyrylo Budanov, chief of Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, told the Voice of America.
