The Russian army, as part of the second phase of the "special operation", plans to establish full control over Donbas and southern Ukraine, to provide a corridor to the Crimea.
This was reported by Russian Telegram channels and the RBC agency with reference to the Deputy Commander of the Central Military District.
It is reported that control over the south of Ukraine "will give the armed forces of the Russian Federation another access to Transnistria, where the facts of the Russian-speaking population oppression are recorded."
