The Russians shelled the city of Chasiv Yar that is located in the Bakhmut District of Donetsk Oblast. The invaders aimed at the beach "Golden Fish", where, in particular, there were children as well.
According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, chief of the Donetsk Military Administration, the remains of banned cluster munitions were found at the scene of the incident.
According to official figures, 11 people were injured, including six children. One person died after the attack.
Context. As of today, at least 324 children have died in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression, and more than 592 have been injured. These figures are not final, since it is currently impossible to collect data from the temporarily occupied territory and settlements where hostilities are taking place.
