The European Parliament has just approved the prolongation of tariff-free trade with Ukraine by another year. Rikard Jozwiak, the Europe Editor at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, reported this on Twitter.
According to him, 537 MEPs voted in Strasbourg to prolong tariff-free trade, while 42 voted against and 38 abstained.
Context. Ukraine became a candidate for EU membership in June 2022.
