Naftogaz has filed a lawsuit demanding to recover 4.5 billion UAH from the Cabinet of Ministers as compensation for the damage caused.
This is evidenced by the decision of the Economic Court of Kyiv.
There are no other details in the case so far, however, it is known that the court session will take place on May 5.
Context. In 2019, Naftogaz also tried to get compensation from the Cabinet of Ministers for the damage caused to the company due to the failure to determine the sources of financing for the special obligations imposed on Naftogaz in the gas market. The amount of compensation was supposed to be 6.6 billion UAH, but the court refused the state company to satisfy such a claim.
