Servants of the People promised to launch the land market from July 1: what is hindering the reform

Within the next two weeks, the Verkhovna Rada plans to adopt a draft law on land auctions and unblock the signing of a draft law on land decentralization that will fully launch the land market from July 1, 2021.

According to the head of the Servant of the People party, Oleksandr Korniienko, it is about the unblocking of draft law No. 2194 adopted by the parliament at the end of April, as well as the adoption of draft law No. 2195 that will impose mandatory electronic auctions. It will increase the efficiency of bidding and make them transparent.

"We continue to methodically pursue important reforms. I hope that in the next 2 weeks we will put, if not a full stop, then an intermediate point in land reform issues... so that from July 1, land reform will begin to fully work for people and stimulate the growth of our economy."
