Explosions have been heard in Kropyvnytskyi. On Thursday, July 28, 2022, the enemy struck the city again. An air raid alert in the regional center went off a minute before the first explosion. Locals on social media report of 4 missile hits.

According to the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, the hangars of the Flight Academy and the Urga airline were hit. As of 3:15 PM, it is known that five people were killed and 25 injured (12 military and 13 civilians) as a result of the strike. Aircraft were damaged, including a civil plane AN-26 and training planes. Nearby buildings were also damaged.

Context. As reported earlier, in the morning of July 23, at 4:36 AM, an air raid alert went off in Kropyvnytskyi, and at about 5:0 AM, a series of explosions (approximately six) occurred in the regional center.

As head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Andrii Raikovych said, the enemy launched 13 missiles at Kropyvnytskyi and its surroundings (8 naval-based Kalibr missiles and 5 Kh-22 air-to-ground missiles launched from a Tu-22M3 bomber).

The missile strike killed three people (a serviceman and two employees of departmental security), and 19 other military personnel were wounded.
