Debris removal in SEC Amstor in Kremenchuk continues, number of victims increased to 18

The day before, the Russian invaders launched a missile attack on Kremenchuk in Poltava Oblast. The enemy hit the shopping mall Amstor, where at the time of attack there were more than a thousand people. As of the morning of June 28, rescuers have removed more than half of the debris, and the death toll has risen to 18 people.

According to the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration Dmytro Lunin, 36 people are currently considered missing. 59 people were injured in the terrorist attack.

There are a lot of foreign media at the scene of the accident. A German journalist from the outlet Bild posted a video of the debris removal in Kremenchuk that had lasted all night.

The city has declared three days of mourning — June 28, 29б and 30 — for those who were killed in the missile attack on Amstor.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian invaders hit the shopping and entertainment center in the city of Kremenchuk with X-22 missiles fired from Tu-22 M3 bombers. The rashists’ planes took off from the Shaykovka airfield, and the launches were made from the territory of the Kursk region.
