In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, an enemy Iskander missile hit the range of the National Guard of Ukraine. About 10 people died, 30-35 people were injured. Two more strikes were inaccurate. This was reported by Hennadii Korban, head of the Dnipro Territorial Defence Centre, during an interview to the DniproTV channel.
"Indeed, there was a missile strike, by Iskander, at the National Guard range this morning. There are dead, unfortunately, about 10 people died, about 30-35 people were injured. This is despite the fact that we and the military tried to take precautions, and most of the personnel were dispersed throughout the territory," Korban said.
According to him, rescuers, the police, the National Guard, and the military commandant's office are now working on the spot.
"The launches were from the Rostov region... This is the Iskander-K, the cruise Iskander, the cruise missile. There were three strikes. Two strikes were inaccurate, did not reach the target. One strike was on the barracks, where there were a small number of people," Korban said.
Earlier in the morning, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, reported strikes and serious damage.
