Victor Pinchuk's company Interpipe is going to launch another workshop for the wheelsets production in the second half of 2021. Its products will be targeted at the European and US markets.
The preparation of the project is now in full swing, said the Chief Financial Officer of the company Denys Morozov to the agency Interfax-Ukraine.
"The launch of an additional workshop for the wheelsets production is scheduled for the second half of this year. Now the equipment is being installed at the site," he said.
The expansion of production was financed by the company at its own expense. The company repaid all past credit lines.
"As of today, the company has no debt to creditors," stressed the Chief Financial Officer.
Interpipe also plans to build new facilities for the production of premium pipes with threaded joints for oil and gas production.
The company reportedly began supplying wheels for Deutsche Bahn high-speed trains and entered the Turkish market of premium clutchless pipes.
